First Full-Scale Experiment Completed

Today, the team performed their first hypervelocity experiment with the newly installed two stage light-gas gun (2SLGG) located in the Hypervelocity Impact Laboratory! A concrete target was impacted with a 6.4 mm aluminum projectile at just over 4 km/s, and our diagnostic instruments performed flawlessly.
